okay now before you all go saying hey a team of super hero monsters - thats just like Monsters vs Aliens. Well you'd be wrong, this here team book idea cam to me in 2004 when I first had started working on the stories that are becoming Where Monsters Mingle. After one to many late night watchings of Frankenstein Junior and the Herculoids I decided to see if I could come up with a comic book that would be made to look old and proclaimed to be the comic adaption of an olf Hanna Barbera or Rankin Bass cartoon from the 60's. So I took the three main monsters of my first batch of stories and created this fake cover...[link] and teamed them up with a professor type that flew around in a flying lab and kept them organized in their fight against world threatening monsters, aliens and super villains.
Slowly i revised it so Garganticus, Atomico and Spudd were now reformed and lived on top of Monster Mountain overlooking New Megatropolis along with boy genius Stan Kirby. Whenever there was a threat the team would leave the lab and comically thwart the menace. Garganticus became a surly, millenia old dragosaurian who was always hungry and ready for a fight, plus a wealth of monster knowledge having seen many come and go. Atomico is the computer brained moving weapon, able to unfold just about any comical gadget or weapon that is needed at the time...kinda like Dynomut or Inspector Gadget. Spudd.....well...he's like a big puppy. Along with Stan, they would face menaces like Meteoid, Mister Monstrosity, the Terrible Sea Slug, the Beastnik, the Brain from Mars and a host of others. I got alotta irons in the fire right now but I will return to these guys one day. |

Any pics in my gallery that look good are because God shone through. Any that don't are because I wasn't listening to Him.
