Ideal's Robot Commando
In 1961 the army began formulating plans to deal with the increasing number of Giant Monster attacks on US soil. In an effort to generate outside of the box thinking a contest was announced and the best design for a monster control plan would be awarding ten million dollars. Many branches and individuals turned in proposals, however the Army Corps of Engineers went one step further and actually built their proposal out of spare construction equipment. Thus was born Robot Commando, controlled remotely by vocal cues he would see action fairly quickly against the likes of Garloo and King Zor before a more pressing threat united the three...
